Poznaj eTwinning:
My name is Beata Lenartowicz. I originally trained as a primary and nursery teacher in nursery school, but now teach English at Primary School No 5 in Bielsk Podlaski, Poland. I am currently one of 22 teachers across Poland as Ambassadors to promote eTwinning Projects in the Eastern Region.
I have promoted eTwinning as a way for children to learn English and other new languages and all about other cultures as well as learning new things about their own. I encourage schools to use eTwinning as a way to make learning real and fun and as a tool for developing pupils' communication skills through the variety of methods technology allows us. Pupils at school where I work are all extremely excited about making contact with other children around Europe and practicing their ICT and language skills in real situations.
I have been very actively involved in a number of highly successful and innovative European projects eTwinning for the past few years. I am currently involved in the running of nineteen projects in my school with a wide variety of countries including Great Britain, Malta, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Italy, the Czech Republic and many others. My school has received seven eTwinning Quality Labels and four European Quality Labels for our project works and became a model for other primary schools to use etwinning creatively in their existing curriculum.
I have been running “Culture in a Box” Comenius project.
