Poznaj eTwinning:
Anne Gilleran has many years experience in education as a guidance counselor, teacher, school principal, teacher trainer and works now as an education consultant. A specialist in Information Communication Technology in Education both at in practice and research, she is currently the Pedagogical Manager for eTwinning Central Support Service, run by European Schoolnet (EUN) in Brussels.
Over the years she has coordinated other EUN projects including the School Manager Centre, a web portal for school managers in Europe; the European School Leadership Network (ESLN); EUN’s Virtual School and the European Network of Innovative School (ENIS) networks. She had edited and contributed to a number of the area of school collaboration and eTwinning, including the eTwinning handbook.
Anne holds a degree of Master of Letters(M.Litt) and of Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc IT). Her research interests are in the role of ICT in collaborative activities within education.
This presentation will look at the evolution of eTwinning over the past four years, how it has grown and developed and where it leads to in the future.
